Happy Thursday! On Tuesday, all of our students celebrated Mary's birthday together out in the pavilion. It was fun for all of our Saints--preschoolers through grade 8. Tomorrow, our fourth graders are going to Lyme Village for their Annual Pioneer Days, which will include a 9/11 portion due to this being the 25th anniversary. Happy Thursday! It is good to be back in school. Tomorrow is our First Friday of the month here at school, so we will start the day off with Mass. The church will then be open for the entire day for Eucharistic Adoration, so at some point, all of our students and staff will head over to the church to spend a little bit of time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Happy Thursday! What a great first week of school! We welcomed 201 new students this week (our largest enrollment in years). That number includes 16 new families. We also welcome two new teachers to the staff--Miss Vogel in kindergarten and Miss Weilnau in third grade. It is a great time to be at ICS. Thank you to the 7th graders and Mrs. Koechley, who worked so hard to put together a very nice reception for our graduates and families.
