Happy Thursday! Tomorrow morning, all of the students in kindergarten through eighth grade will be receiving their House shirts (this has been postponed two times due to snow days!). Students should plan to wear those shirts next Wednesday, February 25, with uniform bottoms to school. On Wednesday, March 11, ICS will be hosting Read with a Grownup, Have a Donut. All students will report to homeroom at the usual time. Grownups should then plan to arrive at approximately 7:

Happy Thursday! On Tuesday, our staff and students spent the day in Eucharistic Adoration (postponed from Catholic Schools Week due to snow days). While we typically spend the first Tuesday in Adoration from 12:30-1:30, and many of our junior high students choose to spend their recess with Jesus each week, this is the first time that we had an entire school day set aside for Eucharistic Adoration. Deacon Jim exposed the Blessed Sacrament at the start of the day, and the

Happy Thursday! Even though this is our first day in session this week, it is still the normal evening for this update! Our Annual Calendar Raffle ticket sales are underway. As of today, we have sold just shy of 1000 tickets, which is just a portion of our goal of 1600 tickets. Our next whole school prize will be at 1000 tickets--a Shirt Day! I have also been drawing a weekly winner for a Dress Down Pass and ice cream treat. Hot lunch is available daily in our caf

The meeting for the 5th and 6th grade camp is at 6:00, and the meeting for the 7th and 8th grade DC trip is at 6:30. Bot

Happy Thursday! It was definitely a busy week at ICS. Our first graders went to the Willows for their Annual Christmas caroling. The residents always enjoy listening to our students as they sing Christmas songs. As a school, we donated over 750 hats, gloves, and mittens to Pass It On. Congratulations to the fifth graders--they brought in the most and won a popcorn bar. Our students did a wonderful job in the program this afternoon and evening. As always, Mrs. Schust

Weekly School Update 12/11/2025
Happy Thursday! We began this week by celebrating Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception as a school family. Father celebrated this Mass ad orientum, which was the first time that most of our Saints had ever done this before. Leading up to the Holy Day, Deacon Jim stopped in all of the classes to talk a little bit about this. He explained that for centuries, this is how Catholic liturgy was celebrated; the celebration of Mass facing the people was officially encou
