Weekly School Update 10/8/2026

Happy Thursday!

Thank you to all of our families who came in for conferences this week.  It was great to see so many of you.  Please know that our teachers are willing to meet with parents throughout the year; it is not just reserved for this week.

House shirts were sent home this week with new students and those who needed a new shirt.  We will be wearing those on Fridays, with uniform bottoms.

Tuesday, October 13, is school picture retake day.  Students who are having their pictures retaken must bring back the original packet of pictures.  Students who are having their pictures taken are permitted to be out of uniform for the pictures.  THIS IS NOT A DRESS-DOWN day.  Jeans, sandals, crocs, sleeveless shirts, holey pants, shorts are not permitted.  When in doubt, please change.

Our Annual Calendar Basket Raffle will again take place in February.  Each class now has a parent who will be organizing the basket.  They will be reaching out to you with regards to donations.  We appreciate all of your support for this huge fundraiser.

Hot lunch is available daily in our cafeteria.  The lunch menu for next week is chicken sandwich on Monday, walking taco on Tuesday, mini pancakes on Wednesday, hamburger on Thursday, and chicken and waffle on Friday.   October lunch menu

See you at Mass this weekend!

NEWS WORTH REPEATING

Families are invited to come to First Friday Devotions on the first Friday of every month for a Holy Hour that includes Eucharistic Adoration, Evening Prayer, and Benediction.  The next First Friday Devotions is  Friday, November 6, from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Breakfast is available daily for all of our students from 7:00-7:30 am for $1, which includes milk.

As we are now several weeks into school, please remember that parking in the main lot at drop-off time is not an option.  By now, parents should be able to pull up to the playground sidewalk, and kids should be able to get out and walk in alone.  If your child needs more time getting out, you will need to park across the street in the parking lot next to the pavilion.

With regard to after-school transportation...if there are changes in the regular way that your child will be going home, and you are aware of that before sending your child to school, please send a note in your child's folder and tell your child to give it to their teacher.  Teachers will then hang that note by the door to serve as a reminder.  If transportation changes need to be made during the school day, please call the school office before 2 pm to make that change.  Calling later than that makes it difficult to get the child where you need them to be.

Just as a reminder, students are allowed to dress down on their birthday.  However, if that birthday falls on a Mass day, students are NOT allowed to dress down for the day (they are permitted to change into casual clothes after Mass OR just wear casual birthday clothes on a different day).

Please be sure to go into Option C to check your balance and do your best to keep the total below $50 at all times.  You are welcome to send a check or cash into the school in an envelope labeled with your child's name and Option C.
