Weekly School Update 9/17/2026

We will be having a school retreat on Wednesday, September 30, for students in grades K-8. A permission slip with more information was given to students today. Please return that as soon as possible.
Lifetouch was especially quick this year--pictures were sent over to the school this afternoon. If you ordered photographs, those should be coming home either today or tomorrow!
Hot lunch is available daily in our cafeteria. The lunch menu for next week is chicken strips on Monday, nacho supreme on Tuesday, pancakes on Wednesday, hot dog on Thursday, and spaghetti on Friday. September lunch menu

NEWS WORTH REPEATING
Families are invited to come to First Friday Devotions on the first Friday of every month for a Holy Hour that includes Eucharistic Adoration, Evening Prayer, and Benediction. The next First Friday Devotions is Friday, October 2, from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Breakfast is available daily for all of our students from 7:00-7:30 am for $1, which includes milk.
We will be wearing House shirts again this year. For those who had a House shirt last year, please check to see if it still fits. If it does not, please order a new one. All new students will also need a House shirt. When choosing a size, please do your best to pick a size that may fit your child for a couple of years (order a size up, please). We are grateful to a donor who is helping us to cover the cost of the shirts. Forms came home with students a couple of weeks ago. Please return those forms by tomorrow.
As we are now four weeks into school, please remember that parking in the main lot at drop-off time is not an option. By now, parents should be able to pull up to the playground sidewalk, and kids should be able to get out and walk in alone. If your child needs more time getting out, you will need to park across the street in the parking lot next to the pavilion.
With regard to after-school transportation...if there are changes in the regular way that your child will be going home, and you are aware of that before sending your child to school, please send a note in your child's folder and tell your child to give it to their teacher. Teachers will then hang that note by the door to serve as a reminder. If transportation changes need to be made during the school day, please call the school office before 2 pm to make that change. Calling later than that makes it difficult to get the child where you need them to be.
Just as a reminder, students are allowed to dress down on their birthday. However, if that birthday falls on a Mass day, students are NOT allowed to dress down for the day (they are permitted to change into casual clothes after Mass OR just wear casual birthday clothes on a different day).
Please be sure to go into Option C to check your balance and do your best to keep the total below $50 at all times. You are welcome to send a check or cash into the school in an envelope labeled with your child's name and Option C.
