Happy Thursday!
During Lent, our Student Council sponsored a Kindness Drive...when staff members saw students showing kindness to others, they were given a ticket. Those tickets were placed in a box, and this morning during announcements, several tickets were drawn, and those students earned Casual Dress passes. Congrats to all of our students for their Lenten Kindness; let's continue it throughout the year!
Tomorrow is the last day to turn in registration fees in order to be entered into the drawing for a $500 Option C voucher for next year!
Spring MAP testing has begun. Please be sure that your child gets a good night's rest and breakfast before test day. We are always proud of how our students do on these mandated tests.
Hot lunch is available daily in our cafeteria. The lunch menu for next week is chicken sandwich on Monday, taco on Tuesday, French toast on Wednesday, hamburger on Thursday, and macaroni and cheese on Friday. April lunch menu
NEWS WORTH REPEATING
Our Annual Reverse Raffle is Saturday, April 25, in the school gymnasium. This is our largest fundraiser, but in addition to being a fundraiser, it is a fun time for all! Doors open at 5:30, with dinner (catered by Bubbarock!) served from 6 pm-7 pm. The main raffle begins after dinner; one lucky winner will take home the $10,000 grand prize. There are thousands of dollars in other cash prizes awarded throughout the evening. Tickets for the main raffle (which includes one dinner) are $100. There is also a 50/50 raffle that evening, along with a TV and a grill raffle. Tickets for those drawings are $5 each. All tickets can be purchased at the parish office. The winners of all of these drawings need not be present to win. *** We are also looking for donations of pop and water, along with volunteers, to make this night a success. A flyer was given to all students last week. ***
All current students in preschool-grade 7 were given their 2026-2027 registration packets a couple of weeks ago. Please look the information over, make corrections, and return to school along with the enrollment fee as soon as possible. If you have younger kids that you would like to register for preschool, please reach out and we can send home a packet to you. Please remember that the scholarship renewals and the school registration packets are two separate things that both must be completed.
All current kindergarten through seventh-grade families received the scholarship forms for the 2026-2027 school year. Please return those as soon as possible, to allow time to get the renewal process completed. Please be sure to sign the forms, make any needed changes, and return them with a current utility bill. The utility bill must show a service and mailing address. The utility bill can be sent back in the envelope or emailed to Mrs. T at tokarsky.joy@icssaints.org
Families are invited to come to First Friday Devotions on the first Friday of every month for a Holy Hour that includes Eucharistic Adoration, Evening Prayer, and Benediction. The next First Friday Devotions is May 1, from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Breakfast is available daily for all of our students from 7:00-7:30 am for $1, which includes milk.
Please be sure to go into Option C to check your balance and do your best to keep the total below $50 at all times. You are welcome to send a check or cash to the school in an envelope labeled with your child's name and Option C.
