Happy Thursday! Â
Â
On Tuesday, our staff and students spent the day in Eucharistic Adoration (postponed from Catholic Schools Week due to snow days). While we typically spend the first Tuesday in Adoration from 12:30-1:30, and many of our junior high students choose to spend their recess with Jesus each week, this is the first time that we had an entire school day set aside for Eucharistic Adoration. Deacon Jim exposed the Blessed Sacrament at the start of the day, and then throughout the day, classes went over at times that the teachers had signed up for to spend 20 minutes with Jesus. Some of our teachers gave up their planning times to do this alone as well. Our eighth graders signed up individually as well, covering the whole day for us. Our staff and students learned that once Jesus is exposed, He cannot be left alone, so they all knew they may have to wait if the next person or group was not there yet. It was a wonderful day for all of us, which then ended with the entire staff spending some time after dismissal followed by Benediction led by Deacon Jim.

Hot lunch is available daily in our cafeteria. The lunch menu for next week is popcorn chicken on Monday, nacho supreme on Tuesday, French toast on Wednesday, hot dog on Thursday, and pizza cupcakes on Friday . A question that was recently asked regarding snow days and lunches.....when we do have a snow day, that day's lunch is simply skipped. We will have whatever is originally scheduled for lunch.     February lunch menu
