Happy Thursday!
And just like that, our 8th graders are now ICS Alumni!
Thank you to the 7th graders and Mrs. Koechley, who worked so hard to put together a very nice reception for our graduates and families.
We also want to offer up gratitude to Mrs. Annie Asher and Mrs. Teresa Bogner. Both of these teachers came out of retirement to spend some time here at ICS. Both are now heading back into retirement. We are ever so grateful for their commitment to Catholic education in general, and particularly their commitment to the students here at ICS. They will both be missed.
Please plan to pick up your report cards on Wednesday, June 3, between 9 and 5, or Thursday, June 4, between 9 and 2.
As you are planning for next year, here are a few reminders regarding Uniforms. These are the same policies that were in the Handbook this current school year, but there were some questions about these particular policies. A big question is regarding pants with elastic at the ankles or cargo pants/shorts. Neither of those are permitted at all. If you have any questions this summer about the uniform dress code, please send me an email. I do check my emails daily, and will be sure to get back to you in a timely manner. Also, PLEASE stop by and check out the Uniform Closet. It is overflowing!
General Regulations to the uniform dress code, which apply to all students
Shoes – Students may wear any solid color shoes with a 1” heel or less, enclosed heels and toes. No boots or HeyDudes on regular uniform days. Attached to this email, you will find the 2026-2027 calendar. As always, we continue to follow Bellevue City School's calendar. Please note--the October teacher Work Day is Monday, October 26, not the 25th (which is a Sunday), as the one last week showed.
If you have not already done so, please return your child's 2026-2027 registration packets along with the registration fee. This helps us to plan for next year, as well as begin to make classroom purchases. If you know of anyone who may be interested in joining the Saint Family, please pass their information along to me, or pass my information along to them.
We wish you all a blessed summer. As I say every year, Mass does not take a break in the summer. Please come to weekend Mass, as is our obligation as Catholics. Weekday Masses are a bonus--and we all love to see you at those as well.
