Happy Thursday!
We had an exciting week at ICS! On Monday, Back to the Wild came for an exciting assembly! On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had time with our Houses with some crazy races, board games, and slushies! Today, we all enjoyed ice cream sundaes. Tomorrow we will end the week with Donuts with Grownups and a special lunch for our staff. What a great week to be a Saint!
Continue selling those raffle tickets. We reached our third school-wide incentive--Shirt Day! Our next school-wide incentive is a Dress-Down Day. I also pull a ticket each week and that seller wins lunch. This week's winner was Collin, in seventh grade, who will have lunch delivered. An added incentive is that for every 10 tickets that a student sells, he or she will earn a Dress Down Pass. Those passes will be handed out on Tuesday, February 4. Hot lunch is available daily in our cafeteria. Next week's lunch menu is popcorn chicken on Monday, walking taco on Tuesday, pancakes on Wednesday, hot dog on Thursday, and spaghetti on Friday.
NEWS WORTH REPEATING
Just a reminder that we do our best to go outside each day for recess. Please send your children to school with a jacket or coat, hat, gloves, etc. If a junior high student is wearing their hoodie as a jacket, he or she will be asked to remove it in the classroom. We will no longer be handing out hats and gloves to students without, as we need to be careful when sharing such things. This also teaches our students responsibility--when it is cold outside, it is important to come to school prepared.
Breakfast is available daily for all of our students from 7:00-7:30am for $1 which includes milk.
Please be sure to go in to Option C to check your balance and do your best to keep the total below $50 at all times. You are welcome to send a check or cash into the school in an envelope labeled with your child's name and Option C.
