Happy Thursday!
Tomorrow is a Dress Down Day here at ICS. All money raised from this will be used to buy gift cards for the Thanksgiving baskets that we will be putting together in our Houses next Friday. Please see the attached flyer (which was sent home on Monday) for more details. Remember, when in doubt....change!
It is hard to believe, but we are just one week short of the half-way point of the second quarter! Just a reminder that our second quarter (and first semester) ends before Christmas this year.
Hot lunch is available daily in our cafeteria. Next week's menu is chicken sandwich on Monday, soft taco on Tuesday, pancakes on Wednesday, mini corn dogs on Thursday, and pizza cupcakes on Friday. Just a note about the pizza cupcakes....I would probably call them a pizza muffin, as cupcake doesn't quite explain it. Regardless, the kids were all able to sample these a few weeks ago, and they seemed to like them an awful lot!!

NEWS WORTH REPEATING
Our students will be putting together Thanksgiving baskets for families in our community. Each class has been assigned a part of the meal. Students will then gather in Houses to assemble baskets. Please see the attached flyer that went home this week for more details.
Our Annual Christmas Program for grades k-8 is scheduled for Thursday, December 19. Please see the attached flyer with regards to the program (time, dress code, etc.). This is a mandatory performance for grades k-5, as well as for band students in 6-8. The preschool program is scheduled for Friday morning, December 20, at 10 am.
We have extra 2023-2024 yearbooks available for $23. If you did not order one, but would now like one, please contact the school office.
Breakfast is available daily for all of our students from 7:00-7:30am for $1 which includes milk.
Please be sure to go into Option C to check your balance and do your best to keep the total below $50 at all times. You are welcome to send a check or cash to the school in an envelope labeled with your child's name and Option C.
